Amani Tiwi Beach Resort

Located in Coastal Kenya, Amani Tiwi Beach resort is your perfect family safari destination. Especially if you are looking for a family beach safari. The resort has over the years received great reviews due to its ‘home away from home’ feel. If you have kids, their spacious family rooms will provide enough space for them to move about. Kids love crawling and playing on the floor or ground. The management knows this and has ensured that their rooms and compound are clean to maintain hygiene. The staff is very friendly and there are babysitters available to look after your kids. Amani Tiwi Beach Resort’s location is secluded to give your family the privacy it needs.

What’s more is that your family will enjoy water activities like swimming, kayaking, beach games, boat riding, deep sea fishing, skydiving and beach walks among other activities.

Mara Serena Safari Lodge

If you are looking to go on a safari in the Maasai Mara, Mara Serena Safari Lodge is the place to be. This family friendly lodge is located at the middle of the Mara Triangle on a hill that overlooks the Mara River and the African Savannah. The lodge has large family rooms that are interconnected. You can freely check on your kids at night just as like you do back home. Isn’t that amazing! At Mara Serena Safari Lodge, there is a menu for kids and they are served early enough, well, because kids get hungry earlier than adults. Serena Safari lodge understands this. The staff is equally friendly to the kids and you can be assured that your kids will have a great time. There is a swimming pool that is open to both adults and kids.

During this Kenya safari you will enjoy family game drives, game walks and Maasai Village visits among other exciting activities.

El Karama Eco Lodge

Laikipia is one of the most preferred safari destinations in Kenya. The cool climate, landscape and the vegetation are some of the reasons that make it popular among tourists. If you are visiting as a family, I would recommend that you stay at El Karama Eco Lodge. The lodge has large and spacious cottages that cater for up to 6 people each. Each cottage has a kitchen, living room, master bedroom and 2 mezzanine bedrooms. The lodge has a spacious compound where kids can play around and enjoy kids’ games.

Panari Hotel

This is probably the newest hotel property in Laikipia. Panari Hotel is built overlooking the famous Thomson’s Fall. It is located in Nyahururu Town, Laikipia. I’ve had the pleasure of visiting the hotel in the company of kids and I can assure you that it is a perfect family safari destination. The hotel boasts of spacious interconnected family rooms that overlook the children’s playing area. What’s more is that you can sit at the balcony as you watch your children play. The hotel has a playground for kids which has bouncing castles among other exciting games for kids. The heated swimming pool ensures that your kids can enjoy swimming irrespective of the weather outside since Laikipia experiences seasons of low temperatures.

You can visit Aberdare National Park while staying here where you will enjoy game drives, bird watching, bush walks and zip lining among other activities.

Lions Bluff Lodge

If you are visiting Tsavo West National Park, I’d recommend you stay at Lions Bluff Lodge. It is the most children friendly of all the lodges around here. Lions Bluff Lodge welcomes children of all ages and provides cots for small babies. Children are taught activities such as fire making and bow & arrow making which they enjoy so much. Security is high and you are assured of your children’s safety throughout your stay.
