Hells Gate National Park

Hell’s gate National Park in Kenya is a great getaway from the bustles and hustles of the city for just few hours into one of the most renowned national parks in Kenya-the Hell’s gate national park. The Hell’s gate national park is famous around the world as a result of many movies that have been acted within the park and these include blockbuster movies such as the Lion King Series. Come and breathe the same air as your famous characters and actors.
The Hell’s gate national park acquired its name as a result of the geothermal activities within the park. Three geothermal power stations have been built to tap into this natural power. If you want to visit the best geysers and hot springs in Kenya, you always have to go to Hell’s gate. Although this is the case, there is abundant of wildlife species and birds that live in this wonderful park. The park is situated 90km from Nairobi via the Naivasha route. The tour is proposed to start from Nairobi however this is just suggestive, any pickup point within Kenya can be considered. Early in the morning after breakfast, our tour guide shall pick you up from your agreed pickup point and you shall be driven to for about two hours to Hell’s gate national park. Along the route, you shall make a stopover at the great valley view point to witness Mount Longonot, the great lift valley floor, and other magnificent landscapes. Upon arrival, you shall hire a bike along with the tour guide and you will start cycling around the park while viewing different wildlife and iconic features within the park. Some of the popular wildlife species within the park include antelopes, baboons, klipspringer, hartebeest, Eland, zebra, Thomson’s gazelle, baboons, and others. If you are not comfortable with biking, a walking tour can be organized. Later, there is an option of going to Lake Naivasha for a boat cruise if time allows. Later, you shall drive back to the Nairobi with wonderful memories.
